  1. Me too! I think it’s a good way to get to know the blogger a bit better!
But it was too awkward for me so I’m happy when I can go back to writing πŸ˜…

  2. Haha. Likewise when I first heard you, but I gotten used to it now. Tomorrow I am driving fir 4 hours. I have saved your newest podcast for that πŸ˜€

  3. I tried replaying it a couple of times, but am not sure. Do you pronounce your name ALeyah? I didn’t hear an “n”, or an “r” in there.

Frankly, I was surprised by your voice. I had a different perception of what it would be, based on your picture.

    You sound very eloquent.

It was nice to hear about your background.

Personally, I am not the biggest fan of those recordings, because I do not have the time/ place to do listen to them. Reading is so much easier for me. But kudos for trying and doing something that works for you.

  4. I totally agree with floatinggold! I didn’t expect your voice and it’s so great to hear it! I’m sure when you were on Instagram that you heard my voice. I very much enjoyed your speaking blog. πŸ™‚

  5. Aww thanks!
I did yes!I deleted instagram but might get back to it later this year!
Maybe you post some of the videos on here? I miss it!

  6. I think this a one time action, at least on the blog.
I guess I just felt a bit lonely because I am alone at the moment πŸ˜… (and because a bad day) so I just wanted to do something with the blog.
But I had to go back to pick up my laptop in the end because I have an early Skype call. Grrr.

So my voice doesn’t match my face? Haha.
I had to to search what eloquent means! But thanks πŸ™‚

  7. Oh and of course I didn’t answer your question.
It’s pronounced as Andrejaa, I guess.

In Dutch at least. My parents pronounce it differently.

  8. Carbelicious. I laughed so much!
This was so cool. You should do more.
Maybe tell your entire weightliss story where you throw in some pics and stuff!
I noticed how your fingers look bony and arms so tiny! You look great!

  9. Aww thank you! I keep saying I will and then get busy and forget! I posted my story a long time ago on here (sometime last year). Maybe I should do it on YouTube next time!

  10. I’m the opposite. Your voice & face match to me. Both beautiful. I enjoyed hearing you talk & share.

You are far more cultured than I. I have never been outside the US.

I played chess in my younger years. I don’t even remember how, now. I am a sleeper, too!

I’d like to drive thru Canada. I have a cousin that lives in Alaska and she routinely has moose in her yard. LOL!

Your doodles make me giggle. Draw me an angry beet.

I hope your return to Denmark is grand. πŸ’ž

  11. I’m gonna be honest that I didn’t listen to it all just because I have a hard time sitting still and listening but wow you have a sexy voice hahah! β™‘

  12. I really enjoyed hearing your voice, and learning more about you, and the places you’ve lived. This was a lovely post, and I thank you for sharing! πŸ™‚

  13. That was a lovely voice recording! It’s nice to hear you say you would like to hear what other bloggers sound like too. I kinda dislike my own voice but I am open to the idea. I also liked your straightforwardness in saying you are unhappy in life. I feel the same about my own life, except I think I’ve never outright said it so honestly as a statement.

  14. Thank you! πŸ™‚
I’d like it if you would do something like this as well!

I use an app call “VoiceRecorder”.
Saved the file on your laptop.
Then, when write you blog you can click “+Add” > Media > Audio.

    Hope it works!

  15. I dislike my own voice a lot too!
I guess everyone does a bit. But I would really like it if you would do it! πŸ™‚

I think a lot of people are unhappy, but don’t dare to say it. I have written a blog about it before, but I think it was before you and I got in contact.
I will reschedule it today or maybe write about it and include that one.

  16. Hahaha, very sexy.
I can imagine, 10 minutes was way too long. I usually don’t talk that much!
I usually wouldn’t like to sit still and listen either, but I got tired of constantly the same music during my commute to work and at work, so I would really like if more bloggers would do these kinds of recordings πŸ˜€

  17. Aww thank you!

Mhh, I disagree with you. Just because the US is considered on large country doesn’t mean that the different states have the same culture.
I remember first time going to Texas. I knew the US from movies, the whole Hollywood scene.
Well, Texas was nothing like that! πŸ˜‰
The only difference is that in Europe we speak different languages, but that’s only annoying to me.

A moose in her yard! That is sooooo coool.
I am obsessed with them. Also, the road signs are so funny.
Unfortunately this year we can’t go on vacation due to the move, but I would love to go to Alaska next year!

Another reader had already requested a Bitchy Beet, so that one is available. But I will draw you an angry one and upload on this post πŸ˜‰

  18. I love your accent! This was such a good idea, I want to do one now. Maybe once the kids go to bed so they’re not yelling in the background or climbing all over me. Lol

  19. Aww thanks!
I really would like to do a follow up, but like you I have the problem with too much noise.
The cars outside, the neighbor kids. Ugh!
But still I think you should do it! πŸ™‚

  20. Actually, that is a fair point. New Englanders are nothing like those from New Mexico. Floridians are nothing like those in Wisconsin. And, having lived in Texas, myself, for nearly a decade, that is the only state in the Union that was once an independent country. Their Texican culture is a breed different from my home state of North Carolina.

I suppose one could look at each individual state as a country. Even the food is unique to each state…as well as language accents. Try understanding a “Hoi Toider” in my state or a Bayou accent in Louisiana. Goodness.

Good catch, love. I guess I just so want to travel and can’t that I feel “cultureless”.

  21. Thanks!
Canada is really wonderful. It’s not overpopulated, so there is plenty of room for wonderful nature. That’s probably what I love most about it πŸ™‚
