What is your favorite type of breakfast?

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
If I get the chance to take my time, it’s also the most enjoyable one for me!
Unfortunately that is not during the work week.

Especially when we have visitors, I like create an extended breakfast.
Different types of cheese and bread, eggs, veggies, tea, coffee, fresh made orange juice, smoothies.
I like to take my time while eating.
There will be a nice background music, we’d talk and we’d laugh.

However, this happens very rarely because he hardly ever invite someone over ๐Ÿ˜‰

When it’s just the two of us, we stick to our creative combination of Coffee & Corn.
We call it our “Coffee CORNer” ๐Ÿ˜‰

How do you like to start your morning food/drink wise?ย

  1. I know it’s bad not to but when I’m working I almost always skip breakfast! I have periods where I’m really diligent about it but I’m not hungry at all in the mornings and I often wake up feeling a bit sickly in the early AM so I’m not hungry till lunch time. At most I enjoy butter on toast but on weekends I really love to treat myself to a big breakfast as I can eat bfast a bit later- my favourite is poached eggs on avocado toast with lime and chili flakes!

  2. During work day I wake up at 5:30 and donโ€™t anything either. The eait till lunch is really long ๐Ÿ˜ฆ
Avocado is one of my favorites and healthy too!

  3. My mother taught me to always eat Something in the morning, so that’s what I do. Even if it’s just Cookies, Corn Chips or Vegetable Juice. My stomach is not empty.

  4. My favorite breakfast is ramen noodles (draining off the water) with a poached egg and some garlic powder.
Up till two years ago, match that with a diet coke with lime… now just sparkling water with lime

  5. Interesting choice!
Itโ€™s a bit unconventional, but so if my coffee&corn combination ๐Ÿ˜‰

    You donโ€™t like coffee?

  6. Actually I was a tea drinker ( like 5 liters a day) and diet coke drinker. Never got into drinking coffee – even when I worked 3rd shift (11pm-7 am ) in high school and college.

Then again, I am not into wine much either, just like a good ale (or back in the days a vodka or midori collins)

(i don’t like chocolate either please don’t defriend me)

  7. Tea is actually a substitute for water.
I like herbal tea a lot as well.

As for alcohol, I really only like to drink on an emptier stomach and not wile eating. It either takes away the taste of the food or the drink.

Ha chocolate for president if you ask me!
But then, Iโ€™m not a big ice cream fan. So Iโ€™m โ€œweirdโ€ too ๐Ÿ˜‰

  8. Wow Iโ€™ve never heard of having coffee and corn- interesting:)
    I canโ€™t function without breakfasts!

  9. Coffee & corn?! I’ve never met anyone who has corn for breakfast!! I love that you guys call it “coffee corner” very clever!!!
Lol I can’t eat when I wake up, I’ve no appetite until 3 or 4 hrs after I wake up!

  10. I never used to bother with breakfast years ago, but then by 11am or 12 in the afternoon I would get starving! Breakfast is the start of the day, and it really does set the tone for the whole day ๐Ÿ™‚ So one should take time out in the morning to respect themselves by sitting down to breakfast!

  11. I agree! But I do understand when people donโ€™t have time during the week as well.
But I make up for it during weekends ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Starting with a glass of hot water is a good idea. I recently started drinking a lot of water!

And mhhhh Moka coffee is the best!

  13. I go for toast and coffee for breakfast. If not toast, then at least some kind of bread with fried or scrambled eggs. ๐Ÿ™‚
