An ode to the men who never disrespected women

Today, on the 8th of March, I am going to do something a little different.

I want to mention my dad.
Who no matter what, always put his family first.
Who would help my mum preparing dinner, even after a long day of work.
Who inspired me to find the right education.
Who would paint his mothers house during a well deserved vacation.

I want to mention my boyfriend.
Who has been a great support during my mental breakdowns.
Who would make me smile or laugh every day.
Who puts a blanket on me when I fallย  asleep on the couch.

I want to mention my chess teacher.
Who saw the potential and passion in me.
Who would promote me to the local newspaper each time there was a tournament.

I want to mention my math teacher.
Who would spend extra time to teach me stuff from the next year because I liked the subject so much.

I want to mention the only classmate who wasn’t ashamed of hanging out with me.
Who sit next to me and share his lunch with me when nobody wouldn’t.

I want to mention my manager.
Who hired me after school because he wanted to give me the chance for something I was passionate about.

This post is not an ode to all the brave and courageous women.
But to the man who never disrespected me.

    2. Ga naar Account settings
    3. Typ nog een keer je web adres in
    4. Laat me weten zodat ik het kan checken ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. I don’t really like the concept of the 8th of March to be honest. But instead of writing a complaint post, I decided to do this ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s well deserved to all men who have been so awesome!

  3. LOVE THIS! It’s nice to also show men that we appreciate the ones who appreciate us, and they can be examples to other men. I love this different perspective ๐Ÿ™‚
