On second thoughts

As I am sipping my wine and not planning to move for the rest of the evening, I’mΒ  reading through all of your New Year’s resolutions blogs, I changed my mind.
This is the only moment where I will have motivation and time to think about such!

I decided to make monthly goals.
Each last week of the month I will blog about how it went πŸ˜€

If you think a month is a long time, try being a woman in her periods.
You just survived one set of cramps and the next are already knocking at your door πŸ˜‰
So I will definitely have something to keep me busy, although I don’t want to aim for any miracles either!

January: Fix my finances
I blogged before about how lousy I have been with my administration.
I have fixed some of it, but other issues have been added.
I am afraid I will be mainly busy with calling and writing emails. But hopefully, by the end of the month, my bank account will be happy πŸ˜‰

February: A car trip to anywhere
Just before mr. Boyfriend starts his new job, he has two weeks off.
Plan is to get into the car and drive to anywhere.
How extremely spontaneous of us πŸ˜‰


March: Put the house on the market
This house is a home, I have to admit.
But a very uncomfortable, small home too!
Half of my clothes lays in a suitcase because it simply doesn’t fit in the closet.
When I have to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, I have to climb OVER him. And still then I will most likely hurt my toe.
I can’t wait to have a larger kitchen and bedroom!


April: Work on the creative site
Some of you might remember my Emotion Doodles?

My plan was always to do something with them, but I never have.
How hard can it be to open an online store and sell them on T-shirts or mugs?!
Any tips are welcome πŸ˜‰

By the end of April, I want to have sold one item at least with one of them on it!

June: Celebrate our 3 years anniversary together
πŸ™‚

July: Drop two pants sizes
As I said before, I started a gym, just two days ago.
Although I am not too bothered with body images, it would be nice to notice the gym days in my clothing, haha.
I once read that one pants size down, equals losing 5 kg.
I am not going to use a scale, so this might work for me πŸ™‚

August: Double my followers on wordpress
I started blogging in August this year.
One of the best decisions ever. You guys have been incredibly kind and make feel that I am not the only “weird one”.
It’s about numbers, but I do want to reach as many people as possible with my stories. Hopefully it will help them like your stories help me!

September: Maintain my job
For now I have a one year contract for my job.
I really seem to like it.
Fingers crossed that my contract will be renewed!

October:Β  “mr. Moose, your ass belongs to me”.
This is my favorite time of the year.
We take off, rent a car and drive to amazing landscapes a country has to offer, including seeing a moose in r life πŸ˜€

November: Write the 11th chapter of my book
I have always wanted to write a book.
I am full of ideas, but somehow my word document always stays blank.
Maybe I could try writing a chapter a day.

December: Make new resolutions
Hopefully I can look back at a more successful with a good prospect 2019.

I am both curious and afraid how things will go!

  1. That sounds like a good solid year of goals! That’s funny that we started about the same time on WordPress! I started July 29th. We have come a long way!
    I’ll buy something with your emoticons on it, they are the cutest!

    1. I suggest you take a pet moose I will be flying within 24 hours! Haha.
      I am so happy that we have found each others blog. I love your stories and in fact, you were part of my motivation to join the gym again! πŸ˜€
