How I lost 10 kg in just one day

Gluttony.
One of the 7 deadly sins.

Why do we sometimes eat more than necessary?
For sure not because of our body functions as one of a Camel!

Most of our over-consumption is related to stress.
I have noticed it myself.
A couple of years back I felt very happy. The job was good. I made new friends. I looked forward going to the gym. I was addicted to fruit and vegetables.
I felt good and frankly, I looked good πŸ˜‰

The past few years were quite the opposite.
You’d wonder how much stress and bad emotions your body and mind can handle.
I found comfort in food, unhealthy food.
Luckily, there have been some nice, wonderful even, moments too, who did limit the damage πŸ˜‰

But today I lost 10 kg.Β Just in one day.
It was 10 kg of stress.Β

I sent my resignation letter.
With the knowledge that within a few weeks I never, ever, have to meet the people who made me cry nearly every day.
With the knowledge that I’m moving onto something much, MUCH, better. πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you! Doing such can be perceived as very difficult for some people. You might be losing a toxic workplace, but you are also leaving a secure workplace (you know the people, you know the lunch menu, you know the hygiene level etc).
And even though it’s a big step for me, I’m ready for a new adventure! πŸ™‚

    1. Haha.
That’s actually a very excellent question. You’re the first one to ask anything related to my website title!
So thank you for that sir!

In the “about me” page, I refer to quote in “Modern Family” :

“This is the funny thing about growing up.
For years and years, everybody is desperately afraid to be different.
And then, suddenly, almost overnight, everybody wants to be different.
      That is where we win.”

My biggest perk is that I’m slowly winning πŸ™‚

(I might dedicate an entire blog abut it! I’ll make sure to mention you for supplying me with the idea! πŸ™‚ )

      1. Wow – I’m honoured that you would think of my comment as the inspiration for a blog post – thank you! πŸ™‚
I think that no-one has asked this before is that you do not seem to have comments enabled on your About page. There, I think, is the natural place that people would ask general questions like this.
A yes – kudos to you for winning. Slowly and steadily will win you the race.
        Kindness – Robert.
